I am new to poetry, I write when I can't think straight because the thoughts and memories are too fast a sometimes too painful. I was with the 3rd battalion 1st. marine division, India company in falujah, Iraq when we took the city in November of 2004. I lost a lot of friends. The memories have been haunting me, so I wrote them down.
