I've been raised Mormon all my life and as you can imagine that comes under fire from the media on the daily. You look up the LDS faith on line and just about any article or video there is (that isn't already hateful) is full of comments of just how horrible my religion and my piers are just for our beliefs. But through all of this I've stuck true to my faith and as I've written I find in my writing that religious topics and poetry are easiest for me to write about. Religion is something I like thinking and talking about, but not on the subject matter if God exists but on the actual fundamental beliefs. What did Christ think about on the cross? What drove Satan to fall? How would a child see death if that child is innocent in the eyes of Christ? The point of my writing is to give a different perspective, raise questions, and make people think. That being said I don't know if I'm near that good but still. One thing this is not meant to do is to force my view point down people's throats, God invented free thinking for a reason.
