Raised on the streets at a young age ive seen rock bottom before ever getting the chance to climb the mountain. When I was 9 years old I came to Washington state to live with my brother I barely knew. I found hope here where I could learn to read and write in a public school. Although I got into alcohol at a young age causing myself to rebel and lose track of the silver lining I had been given. After teenage years I fell into a relationship with a man twice my age and left the security of this little town. He used me and abused me for 3 years. Giving me new meaning of hopeless. Finnaly there was a witness to the atroscities of my abuse and I was given another chance to start again. Since that day more than 2 years ago I have been struggling to find my true self. Be that a poet, an artist, a survivor, or just a young women searching for a better life. I write poems and lyrics that dig deeply into my own psyche attempting to give rhyme and understanding to my own feelings and experiences.
