I've always loved writing because it's a way for me to heal from diseases of the world like anger. I started getting into poetry in junior reading literature. In high school, I won an award for a short story contest then another time my poem was published in VOICE. Before that, I told my English teacher I could rap who wanted to see me after class where I made a small performance. He knew I was more behind the scenes.
Then he started to edit my poem wanted me to stay on the truth and I spoke of other people's experiences is why he said, "You're a poet." Reflecting back, I could remember when I walked into South Side Pizza Shop to buy food. The manager wanted to see what I wrote in a notebook I carried with me from time to time. When I showed him my creative work, he liked a couple of lines to where he gave me a free meal and said, "Keep writing those poems." I'm willing to give feedback and accept it for improvement. At three years old when I spoke my first sentence, the first persons' behavior who I changed as an adult for a righteous outcome was my mother. The first sentence I said to her was "You look like the devil." I told her that because I saw a lot of anger inside of her that's a major disease of the world in this Spiritual War. After I spoke the truth for peace, in a result she became a member of a church and got baptized. NOTE: For future reference, I'm currently working on a poetry book called EYE IDENTITY. I also have a logo idea that will portray a picture of the human brain with damage done to the right side of my brain lightly shaded.
