A Lover’s Sojourn

That sun dappled path
With leaves askew,
Past that wooded bend,
That’s where I’ll walk with you.

By grassy knolls,
And yellowed hedge,
Mirrored ponds,
And leafy ledge,
We’ll trudge our track,
We’ll weave our way,
That’s where I’ll walk with you today.
