A Synopsis of Life

You can grab life by the horns
And bend reality to your command
But you’ll return with hands full of thorns
Because our little world
Does not take demands
You can search high and low
For mysteries unknown
Uncover the wrong secret however
They’ll say you have to go

You can ride the wave
Of chemicals that cloud your head
Ride the wave to long
You’ll never wake up from bed
You can cast away
And hide all your emotions
But when tide comes in
Your swallowed by oceans

If you follow suit
And step in others tracks
Humanity would be the same; and Creation we would lack
So as I look forward
I also wonder back
In distant memories; to see if I left tracks
