Away to see, is what will be.

You look, it is a door. Or more of a window, through which you cannot see. It is forced open a crack at the bottom. Pushed up as with a frost heave, whereupon you have trodden.

To look back at what was, would be a wasted mistake. Save it for a dark and cold day to make.
Stopped in the now, oh wow, how brave of you but at least you are now facing the right way.

The future is but a breath of a step away. Like a spring’s asway in the wind, And again you look. Now sure, that it is a window you see. On which dances the shadows of colors of what may be.

On the other side of the window. The future is before me, not marred nor scared but mine to just be.
