Compromise

Today I saw a man hitting his wife
Has he forgot his daughter is still alive
I hate to see the woman stayed quite in the name of compromise
And her son is learning that sitting nearby
This all made me cry
Now also people screams that woman get equal rights
Time has flown by
His children are grown up but are meaningless in life
The son repeat his father by torturing his wife
The daughter is not a exception to this crime
The woman again stayed quite in the name of compromise
I do not fear to say the woman made a mistake
By not breaking bones of her husband
Maybe then the son would fear laying hands on his wife
Maybe then the daughter would know how to raise her voice
But here we are standing on if or maybe
Hoping the world wouldn't change into a horror movie
Where the only ghost will be the people around you
Hoping you would compromise with their tortures too.
