We are all born with certain traits,
How they are used make up our fates.
We can’t change the genes given upon our birth,
But we can use them for good while here on earth.
Some are blessed with mighty brains,
Some with brawn to win them games.
But we can use them all the same,
For good causes, that’s the shame –
When our minds and bodies go to waste,
If fame and fortune tempt our taste.
Helping others with our gifts,
Mending fences instead of causing rifts.
That’s how we can play the game,
Bringing peace and justice is the aim.
