In Fighting for Gods

She prayed to one god,
And served in the temple of another.
But neither could save her.
She suffered at the hands fighting for gods,
Rape and murder.
She was an orphan, served many
Orphans and Gods,
In faith and farm.
She never claimed lineage of gods and angels,
Never doubted any faith.
The gods she served
The god she prayed to
And many like her were orphaned.
What was her fault?
What will become of her?
Will she find a place in heaven?
Will she reborn a goddess?
But she’ll perhaps regret
Being born a woman
And not a crow,
Looking after other's eggs.
