His belly jiggles,
his toes wiggle.
His cute mumbo jumbo lures me in like an everlasting reel.
I hold him with hands of safety,
caution tape below,
we go eye to eye.
The ray of sunlight gleams upon him,
as if he is my sunshine.
I hold him once more,
but this time I lay low,
my aunt grabs him and mutters,
“back to Colorado we go!”
