If I project the voice in my head,
Loud enough so you along tread,
Certainly its bewildering,
To grasp what you're hearing,
Because I am without

Am self aware in darkness,
Shy that before the mirror I should dress,
So passionate with hate,
A hatred for all that reflects,
And this my face detects
I am non self

It pains to receive,
Not glad that to me you'd give,
Joy fills in lack,
When with mine I cover their backs,
Perhaps I am selfless,
Yes, I am non self

Within I groan,
Towards pain am drawn,
My life is death,
So, away I'll give my breath,
Because I am not,
I am non self
