Self Destruction

Alone in the darkness I could see
A helping hand that's new to me
Whispering a catastrophe
Barely could I figure it be.

All I could see were scintillating sharp edges
Remiscin' too many judges
In my heart depths are grudges
Humanity cut all my bridges.

I turned my eyes to other side
Red viscid are flowing like tide
I closed my eyes in dread
There he is, not leaving my side.

Again he offered me a hand
Whispering: my broken heart he could mend
Possible if only I accept his offer then
Querying at that moment if what could possibly happen.

I look up to ask for help
But instead I started to yelp
I am staring a woman: myself
Dangled by a necklace of pelf.
