Shadows in Chests
I loathe death
and watch as you dance with it.
You take your last breath
and now death dances alone.
I loathe death
and shudder, my lip bit.
You took your last breath,
and on the days will pour.
I loathe death,
yet I remember you.
And all who remain in chests,
shadows in hearts that once tore.
