Unconditional Love

I cannot explain this unconditional love we share,
I just know that inside I truly care,
I wouldn't let go, even if I had to
Because no matter what, I will always love you
And with every piece of my beating heart,
That only in distance, we shall part
I want you to know how much you mean to me,
And since day one, I've loved you unconditionally
I couldn't picture my life without you by my side
And somehow, in this cold world you & I collide
You bring this light into my small world
That shines brighter than the oceans pearl
You're the only person I want next to me,
When I'm old and grey, & half passed sixty
And if we do so happen to make it that far,
I hope you realize by then how precious you are
That I would do anything for you, no matter what it takes
When your world darkens, && your heart aches
I vow from this day to never break a promise so big
Because in this life, you are my everything
