By Moses I

10,000 miles away, the sun shines so bright it's blinding
Reaching out, there isn't anyone else around, mistaken that solitude set me free
Sunsets keep me from seeing you
Nobody sees as I'm sinking

Another day and all that's lost is collected again
Sunrises, through the thinning fog I see a familiar shape dancing on the water, as waves crashing on the shore
Nobody sees that I'm drifting

The stars shine as they lead me astray
Slowly the course changes, chasing a horizon ever out of reach
Compass and maps no longer are of use
Nobody sees that I'm fading

This Poems Story

Perhaps an introspective of the descent into despair and nothingness...perhaps not.
