It's been eleven years on this September
We watched in horror, we all remember
How can we forget the planes and the towers?
The cowards that attacked us in the early hours?
Our hearts ache for the ones who fell
Those moments they spent in their living Hell
We honor the men and women who took a stand
They are forever the heroes of our promised land
We will never forget flight 93
Those brave Americans who stood up to the enemy
How can we forget the firefighters and the NYPD blue?
They walked towards the towers, despite what they knew
The courage they displayed on that horrific day
The memories etched in our minds will forever stay
We will fight for the lives that were tragically lost
We will protect our country at every cost
We refuse to allow them to terrorize the land of the free
We are Americans, and we are proud to be
