2020

The beginning of 2020 was almost here
We all were saying this was our year
As we joked about the virus covid-19
That would soon consume our lives

Covid-19 went from a joke to a pandemic
And like wild fire it showed no sign of stopping
Then one by one the cases increased

Soon you couldn’t go out on the town
And walking side by side is not allowed
Everywhere you go someone is saying 6 feet
Or telling you to fix your mask

When in store or online mask are always available
They even make matching mask and scrunchie sets

Masks have slowly become the norm
As each day passes will we ever be covid free
2020 is almost done, maybe 2021 will be our year
As we pray for the end of covid-19
