333 When You Truly Left Me
On that fateful night as I sat by your side.
You lay there fighting your fight.
You no longer wanted to be here and left my sight.
I felt so numb becuse this couldn't be happening to me.
I tried to help and guide in some way but you didn't hear what I had to say.
You broke long ago, when he left your side.
And no matter what I did...he stole your stride.
I loved you but mourned you long before you left.
You woke me one last time before you left so I could hear your last breath.
I cried and cried as it seemed so unreal.
I got in the car to go home and 333 was the time to arrive even though you were gone you were by my side.
You were with me until that time...then went on your way and left me signs to this day.
I found your note that said your still here that you wrote long ago.
I love you mom. You're still with me but in a better form than you could ever be.
