(6) Last Serenade
As the episodes of my journey to the grave come to an endI'll sing the last serenade of my pitiful life in mourning
All who hear will know the powerful impact of my infinite sorrows
The melodies will carry through the breeze to distant lands
My final flight is all I have left for an untimely adventure
I bid farewell to the living world beneath my black wings
This Poems Story
Number six of seven. This is about putting the past to rest. Saying goodbye to the things that hold you back and keep you down. Putting them to rest. Written for any to see and know that they aren't the only ones who feel as they do, that someone else knows their pain, someone else has felt it too.
