My mind wandered South
Land of Diego
Oceans of water
Time took me shook me, hard
My fists broke against the green cloth of war
We sailed on
25 hundred years ago
Dancing feet touched warm Acropolis steps
They touch nothing now
Athens moved on
A boy on the steps in the sun
Sells salty drinks going up and down
We sailed on
Cape Tua Sumatra Sunda Straights
Calm midnight
Dark moon over glowing water
The dead below share secrets lighting the way
God speed to war
We sailed on
Circling death
Playing poker
Dancing with women
Riots, accidents
John how could you die
Fixing a stupid typewriter?
