A Beautiful Girl

A beautiful girl,
that's what they'd say.
A flower, a rose,
in a world full of grey.

You burst with color,
you'd light up the sky.
I'll follow you glitter trail,
that you left behind.

Your laughter, contagious,
your smile, bright.
I never stop thinking about
what happened that night.

The flower has wilted,
the colors did fade.
Your laughter has gone,
but your beauty remains.
