A Bell Tolls

Walking through a life of Hell,
A distant tolling of a bell,
Hoping for one last wish
Before Death's icy, final kiss.

An imminent darkness shrouds the land,
Souls are taken hand by hand.
Slowly walking through the gate,
Eternity in torture is their fate.

Looking up for skies of blue,
Hidden forever from their view,
Fires ablaze all around,
Ash and brimstone cover the ground.

Condemned to agony and pain,
Ecstasy and pleasure within life: no gain.
Screams echo through the walls,
Menacing laughter answers their calls.

Beware the tolling of a bell,
For darkness brings the gates of Hell.
The life you live is your fate,
Be careful of the Hell you make.
