A Better Place

You know the world would be a better place
If we all stopped worrying about race
It doesn't matter the color of your skin
Or your origin
Your lifestyle and choices
And how we use our voices
Is all that truly matters
You see it is easy how life shatters
Under the oppression
And how people make it an obsession
To bring justice to world
But with a fist curled
Guns waving
Neither side is caving
Too many people are dying
There is no need for lying
Can't we all just get together
Like two birds of a feather
To make the world a better place
Where it is okay to be a different race
