A Cat Without Pants

A cat without pants
Can assume any stance,
Without a long trouser
He’s such a fine mouser.
But he hasn’t a pocket
To carry a wallet,
And he’d bat at a dime
He has so much free time.
Or he might take a leap
Then just fall asleep.

Is that such a crime?
No, it’s truly sublime.
