A change in life

When the rain begins to pour down
With every subtle drop that hits the ground
Reminding you more of the life you've got.
It's like a winding dirt road coming to a certain spot.
Pot holes and bumps at every turn.
Wishing for a change, or so you yearn,
Then suddenly a change occurs.
A blessing that indeed is yours.
Off the dirt road you go,
Onto a cement road or so.
The life once lived is gone.
Then for once, you can move on.
