A Child-like Faith

I remember when my son was young
and he and I would play.
I would place him on a table or chair
and ask him to jump my way.
He would of course
he knew I would never let him fall.
It was all because of his child-like faith
the faith of one so small.
When we grow up in this old world
we lose that child-like faith
When God says,"jump" we question Him
we go the other way
Restore our faith O'God you always
hear our call.
