A Child’s Love for a Mother

It has been almost three months
Since you've been gone it is still rough
Seeing you lay and be cold
It is the hardest thing I have ever done
Kiss your forehead for the last time
While those tears I cried
I never will be the same
For not ever seeing your smile again
You held me while I was sick
You even gave me a few whips
I had not made your life easy
But somehow you still loved me
I wonder what I did to earn you
'Cause the love you gave me was pure and true
I love you Mother
I love you more than any other
