A Cosmic Love Affair
A sandcastle
Lips left trying to describe
Falling to the thief of a tide
A cosmos darkens
A little white lie
A billion scars left
Weeping in the sky
And here, gazing at shed snake skins,
Crowds of mourners
Stumble through
The back allies of the galaxy
But where else, if not alone in your absence, could I ponder
And where else, if not alone in such nonsense, could I sink
Into your echoed yonder
A chill
Another cosmos dies while vapour
Buried deep in its darkness
Sighs
