A Crossroad

Two strangers met one night
At a crossroad that led everywhere.
One was looking for their lost love,
The other, fame, fortune, and luck.
Coming to a halt, facing each other,
Both so tired of searching.
They decided to rest with each other
Just for a little while
To heal up for the journey ahead.
So they talked about their travels,
Told each other their stories.
And in the end, they did not wish to be parted
The first one decided that a love that had left them
Did not deserve to be found.
The other one thought
Who needs fame or fortune?
I have found my luck,
And it is all I need.
So they left the crossroads,
Without a destination in mind,
Together.
