A Different Color
Oh, How I wish my basement were light and cool,
Like a warm welcome, blanketing the environment.
No amount of money will give me more pleasure
than the aesthetics of my accomplishment.
Bringing a complete and different
feeling of evocative emotions,
And timeless beauty that goes along with determination.
For one's alternative to bright and airy,
can be new like a shiny car,
or old like an affixed rock to the land it sits.
Help may be needed, but never looked for.
This one prefers getting the job done in silence unrelenting.
