A Dog's Day

Well they say mortgage, marriage and maternity,

are supposed to be the keys of the American Dream.

But I have sort of a separate philosophy,

cause I'd rather lift my leg when I pee.

What is the meaning of this supposed to be? The only thing I can think about that would fit with the last line is the degradation of the prior "American Dream" by calling those who want it bitches. And if that is the intention- then bravo! Love it. Add in the title and the picture paints itself as anti white picket fence, with those that would want to settle down and have a stable life being in a sad state- "A Dog's Day".
