A Dull Star

As another day passes by,
you’re still lingering in my mind,
All my hopes have surrendered dry,
yet it leaves a scar behind.

You shaded a part of me,
dark grey and cracked green.
My mouth spits out pretty lies,
yet my heart aches of the truth.

In a sea of teen love,
I'm one of a plethora,
But our universe differs,
You’re the dull star that sparks the most.

You are the sun,
It hurts to face you and your demons,
But of course,
My eyes are blinded by your spark.
It shades your lies
and twinkles your sweet talks

You are the dull star i see so brightly of.
