A Fault…

That one word that shouldn’t come out, but the eyes do the talking
When all we do is care, gets misconstrued by stalking
Whoever it is, please stop, I cannot endure this longing
She wasn’t my ex, but I always kept on calling
Did I care too much? Did I take things too far?
Why do I blame myself for not being up to par?
Things seem confusing now, perspective has gone afar
But one day confusion will shine, within darkness are the stars
A sadistically gloomy day, it seems as if it is coincidence
Everyone pardon me, just me and my uncontrollable insolence
Ringing through our ears like right next to us are such instruments
But ultimately it came down to a loss, a loss of innocence.
