A Friendly Reminder

In some places in this world,
There are flowers that grow where they shouldn't.
There are people with pain kept well hidden.
And they are beautiful.

In some places in this world,
There are people who feel things they shouldn't.
There are flowers growing and kept well hidden.
And they are beautiful.

Here's a friendly reminder that the broken are people.
Just like roses, they grow.
Like daisies and pansies and all that is equal,
They survive on necessities and things that they know.

Their insecurities like giants, abilities like greatness.
Unaware of the things they are able to accomplish.
And they are beautiful, but they've forgotten.

Here's a friendly reminder to the people,
You aren't broken.
You aren't beaten.
Simply trapped under the weight of all your mistakes.
Simply, momentarily, weakened.

You are not broken.
You are not beaten.

Here's a friendly reminder: You are beautiful.
