A good Friend

My heart torn in pieces over a friend,
a good friend indeed.
Demons has her soul in shackles
Addiction is too hard to tackle
She hides the demons from you.
They are not for you to see.
As she turns to walk away,
your heart and soul crying to be relieved.
All you want is to take it all away,
The pain she perceives.
You can't bring her secret to light,
The horrible things that could ignite
Knowing the demons are lurking all day and night
All I can do is pray, "lord please save her"
What are you to do shattered and broken
Over a good friend, a good friend indeed.
