A GREATER DEED
A deed is accepted as a deed
When one embraces his very deed
He may try the very heights that bears
And his fears may come so near
A greater deed has grown today
Its grown so high the earth has prayed
So high of high God in the world
To see in reason that is told
And when its very act ignites
Did he from a throng have bite?
To worry about his need of breath
Or fumble upon the act of death
Its to tell that All will learn
Its great in all our common sence
So great to see occenian banks
And great the very life will reign
When a man has committed greater deeds
The eternal seal-he has seen his zeal
The zeal that drives the heart of life
Will sparkle best on the mile.
