A Horse As White As Snow

A horse as white as snow
Stands on a hill.
He closes his eyes
And everything is still.

The sun is warm on his face.
He can feel the cool breeze of Spring.
He relaxes in the grass
And listens to the birds sing.

His old body fell
And he took his last breath
Remembering the sunshine
Before his old-age death.

Now, on the hill,
Stands a flower as white as snow
Where the horse's body fell
Years and years ago.
