A House Divided

The house divided once stood
But it no longer stands

The house has divided
Into two homes,

Far apart and constantly drifting
With the fabric of the universe they are pulled apart.

Divided against itself,
The house will never stand

The light in the window of the house fades,
There is no hope,
Nothing left to salvage

The house divided once stood,

But no longer stands.
