A Learner’s Ride

Wrapped in worlds of self emotion,
fearing any single notion,
that which would disturb the norm,
that keeps us sturdy in our form.

Afraid of what coheres with change,
afraid of looking down the range,
what lies in past may come to be,
in future we reluctantly see.

The key to staying all the same,
is held by those who claim their fame,
and those who strive to follow suit,
stay unchanged unto their root.

But those who can't accept the life,
of constant dullness, create strife,
but conflict is what we accept,
that makes us happy, truly adept.

So don't fear what may stir your mind,
what comes straight forth, and leaves behind,
don't be afraid of changing tide,
come join me on our learners' ride.
