A Letter to Him, a Note for You
It's dark, it's cold, it's lonely in here
Nobody to talk to, nobody seems near
The days seem too short, the nights are too long
I try to push through, but I can't, I'm not strong
Nobody wants to listen, nobody seems to care
It's not fair, now I cry out, this isn't fair
I'm crying out for help, can anybody hear me?
This room is too cold, I need someone to save me
Wait, who is that? There's a presence in the air
He looks like someone who would listen, someone who really cares
I run towards him with arms open wide
He says, "It is time to be set free, it is time to fly"
