A Letter To My Mirror

I'm not just black or white
I'm often shades of
Usually vibrant and dangerous
Living between night and day.

Finding beauty in desolation
I often need to sit and pray
That indifference never truly happens
That somehow Ill see the way.

Trying ceaselessly to move forward
While being forced to stay
Don't chain me down much longer
You will have hell to pay.

The moment that I need your ears
You don't hear one word I say
As they crash against your built up walls
And fall to rot and decay.
