A Letter To Society

Dear society,
Why can't I be me?
I should feel comfortable in my own skin.
I'm not him nor her.
Why don't you accept me for who I am?
It shouldn't matter what clothes I wear,
or how I talk.
It doesn't matter who I hang out with,
or how I walk.
I shouldn't have to mirror someone's image
to please you.
I am literally one in a million
I am me
And that all I will be
Sincerely,
Me
