A Little Fall of Rain

Pitter Patter, Pitter Patter
Rain falls all around
Pitter Patter, Pitter Patter
Rain falls to the ground.

Rain falls down her face;
Slowly sliding its way.
Drop by drop, it falls
Forever and always to stay.

But this rain is quite salty,
And it drips from her eye.
Is it really rain at all?
Or tears as she cries?

Battered by his hard-hitting fist,
She lay a hopeless mound.
Rain falls; pitter patter, pitter patter
Forever to the ground.
