A Lost Heart

You are the wolf and I am the swan lonely on a frozen pond
Time stops and the stars have faults unknown
Without warning you turn from me
My emerald kiss would be sure to change to your mind

The minute her touch consumed your being, I slipped away
You collapsed under her spell of her words of snarly stones
Your lively spirit faded and you are under her command
She is the thief of your innocence

The truth wounded my heart like a silver bullet
Stinging tears struck my face when I realize your fate
I cry out into blackness for your bright face
I'd protect your soul tightly tucked in the amulet that is my heart
If you ever break her spell fall deeply into mine.
