A Loyal Love

My love should have killed you.
Instead she made me strong.
She kept you close,
and you suffered too long.

Now, though, I realize,
the evil in my heart,
and how her selfish cruelty
has torn me apart!

I'd have killed you myself
if she hadn't tricked me.
But for now and forever,
my greed is all you'll see.

Betrayed by my love!
She'll never have my trust!
And now we are tainted,
by her revolting lust.

My love should have saved you.
She should have set you free.
But my love, she's loyal.
Though only to me.
