A Memorium to Boston

What was once a day of light,
Is now hidden by the dark of night.
Within its shadows lies anger and sorrow,
So mad and sad that it will be darker tomorrow.
Bodies lie in bags and smiles are upside down,
But in the depth of night, everything carries a frown.
This darkness is a mystery that will never be explained,
Its only evidence is the bags full of the slain.
Whether the sun is high or the moon is low,
The cast of darkness on this world will continue to glow.
Once a world that shined so bright
Is covered in darkness, day or night.
