A Midnight Affair

As two lovers stare up into the midnight sky,
two lovers contemplate each others lives.
"Will we draw apart? Will we survive?"
For love these days are just in our eyes.
Still they fought their thoughts that wouldn't keep low,
"Will I love them more today than I will tomorrow?"
But fears such as these are only fed by the mind's doubt,
and soon enough our two lovers had figured it out.
Though this revealing thought was as silent as night,
it also became as clear as day.
They both looked up into the pale moonlight,
and knew right then that their love would not stray.
