A Moment

One passing moment was all it took
Beauty & elegance a combination found in a book
She was subtle yet exciting & everything in between
Innocence of a princess with the attitude of a queen
I found myself infatuated with her temperament
Making me contemplate a true commitment
Even her imperfections she confidently let glow
My mind was racing like a stream's endless flow
Asking myself how can I help her see?
A worthy reason why she should be with me?
She shows no clear signs of a mutual attraction
Yet sees my interest & smiles to give me satisfaction
It's clear that some things are just meant to fly
So high that it can touch even the darkest sky
Therefore I gave her a look hoping she could translate
Since flying with her I believed was my true fate
