A Moment’s Joy

Yesterday is torn-
No more than myth
A new moment is born
And it, with a gift

Wasted is now and its joy
Worries cling to yesterday
Happiness is but a ploy
Desire never set at bay

To live in the moment- a beautiful life
Accepting what is, wanting no more
Would ever bid farewell to strife
And forget the losses of before

Nature can be
No desire to show
Her eyes do see,
Her heart does know

Let yourself be,
Allow life to grow,
And shall your eyes see,
And your heart, know.
